Our aim
Industrial & Precious Metals Ltd (IPM) initial aim was to provide the smaller consumer of precious metals an alternative to the large producers, where high minimum order quantities and costly minimum charges are commonplace.
With no minimum order charges or minimum lot and batch sizes, we provided a service based on supplying exactly what the customer needs. As opposed to being obliged to buying larger quantities than required or being charged high minimum charges, for, what is intrinsically an expensive product anyway!
Very quickly we identified that our role did not have to be limited to smaller “niche” quantities and within a short space of time had developed business with more significant volumes.
Alliances and strong working relationships soon developed as the business has grown and IPM is proud to be working with many of the world’s premier mills, all of whom are vetted under our QA system and must have ISO9001 as a minimum requirement.
Because of our history and experience, we have access to many older or obsolete drawings and material references that enable us to assist our customers where products have become obsolete, or the original manufacturer is no longer trading, this has proved particularly important with spares and service parts in the electrical contact industry.
